A graduate of Stanford University with a degree in biology, Dr. Piasecki went on to Vanderbilt Medical School, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. While in medical school he took a two-year leave of absence to compete on the US National sprint kayaking team and was ranked #4 in the world, winning gold medals at the Pan Am Games, World Cup and at the U.S. National Championships.
After graduation from Vanderbilt, Dr. Piasecki did a five-year plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin, where he won several awards for his research and teaching. He then completed a Mohs surgery fellowship at the University of British Columbia, training under some of the most respected dermatopathologists in North America.
Dr. Piasecki one of seven physicians worldwide who are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons , which indicates that he has met the highest level of requirements for practicing plastic and reconstructive surgery and a Member of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Piasecki lives in Gig Harbor with his wife and three young daughters. He continues to kayak recreationally and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
Nurse
Lisa brings a diverse nursing background to the Harbor Plastic Surgery Center. Lisa was neonatal intensive care nurse for 14 years before making a career switch to injectibles, lasers and veins in 2004. A natural artist, she quickly became well known for her fillers and injectibles and was asked by Medicis to become a regional trainer and round table speaker for Dysport, Restylane and Perlane and by Cutera to train practitioners on lasers.
At Harbor Plastic Surgery Center, Lisa offers sclerotherapy, injectibles and fillers to our patients and is the Lead Nurse in the Operating Room. She continues to train other providers on injectibles and lasers in her free time.
Outside of work, Lisa is busy raising three teenage student-athelets. She loves running and spending time with friends and family.
Operating Room Lead, Surgical Technician
Emily in responsible for ensuring the operating room is maintained to state and federal regulations. She assists Dr. Piasecki in surgery in both the clinic and the operating room. Prior to joining Harbor Plastic Surgery Center, Emily worked as a surgical tech in Seattle for 3 years, and as a medical assistant for 3.
Emily recently moved to the peninsula from Seattle and enjoys skiing, spending time with her family and friends and exploring the area.
Medical Assistant and Histotechnician
Pam assists Dr. Piasecki in surgery and keeps the back office running smoothly. She is very involved in Mohs surgery cases, cutting the tissue, preparing slides for tissue study and assisting Dr. Piasecki in surgery. Prior to Harbor Plastic Surgery Center, Pam was a Medical Assistant for 14 years. In her free time, Pam enjoys camping, hiking, biking and the outdoors as well as spending time with her husband and 2 young children.
Patient Care Coordinator
Candace joins the Harbor Plastic Surgery Center with 13 years of health care experience. Candace has reentered the workforce after 8 years at home raising her two boys to be the Patient Care Coordinator and Front Office Specialist. Candace coordinates all aspects of cosmetic surgery and is the primary liason to the practice for our cosmetic surgery patients. Her excellent customer service skills and ability to get things done has made her a patient favorite! Candace, an avid marathon runner, lives in Gig Harbor. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids and volunteering at their school.
Administrative Assistant
Teresa came to Harbor Plastic Surgery Center after being a surgery coordinator/receptionist for over 10 years for a group of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons in Renton, Washington. She enjoys working with patients and making their visit a pleasant experience. When she is not at work, Teresa enjoys hiking, kickboxing, yoga/pilates, and walking her dog, Jazz, on the Tacoma waterfront. Her hobbies are reading a good mystery novel and spending time with her significant other.
Administrative Assistant
Erin joins our team with broad experience in the health care customer service field. Prior to Harbor Plastic Surgery Center, she started her career as a pharmacy technician. Following that, she spent 10 years in a pain clinic where she worked her way from front desk work to managing the entire clinic. When she is not at work, Erin enjoys traveling with her husband, watching her son play football, photography, working out and walking her dog, Bentley.
Billing Specialist
Tacey comes to Harbor Plastic Surgery Center with over 25 years of medical billing experience in a variety of medical practices. She comes to the office frequently, but typically works out of her home. If you have a billing related question, you will likely leave a message with our front desk and she will return your call. Tacey was born in the UK and came to the states as a young child. Outside of work, she enjoys taking care of her horses and farm.
Administrator
Jill comes to Harbor Plastic Surgery Center with thirteen years of healthcare consulting experience. She has worked in various settings across our country and internationally. She enjoys working on a day to day basis with her husband.
Jill spends most of her time outside of the office chauffeuring their three young daughters around the Gig Harbor area. When away from the kids, she enjoys running and tennis.
